When I started Burleigh Chilli Co., it was about creating something local, flavour-first, and built from the ground up here on the Gold Coast. Small batches. Big ambition. Learning as we go.
Fast forward to now, seeing our sauce launched in collaboration with the Gold Coast Suns, an AFL club representing our city on the national stage — is a pretty surreal moment.
Being part of their season launch and membership campaign with a limited-edition sauce is something I’m incredibly proud of. Not just as a business owner, but as a local who’s always believed in backing community and building something meaningful here on the Coast.
What made the whole experience even better was the team behind it. A huge thanks to Noelle Randle and the team at the Suns, who I worked closely with to bring the idea to life and give Burleigh Chilli Co. the opportunity to be part of the campaign.
Moments like this make you reflect a bit. Not that long ago we were setting up the market stall, sharing samples, talking to locals about flavour, heat, and what makes a great sauce. To now be collaborating with a major AFL club from our own city is a reminder that consistency, community, and backing your ideas can open doors you don’t always expect.
It also feels like the start of something bigger.
This year is shaping up to be a big one for Burleigh Chilli Co. We’ve got new products in the works, fresh flavours we’re excited to release, and more collaborations on the horizon with brands and businesses we genuinely love working with. The goal has always been to keep pushing forward while staying true to what got us here — great flavour, small-batch production, and strong local roots.
The Suns collaboration is a proud milestone, but it’s also fuel for what’s next.
Grateful for the journey so far. And very excited for what’s coming. 🔥🌶️
