Introducing Shore Break Beef Jerky

Introducing Shore Break Beef Jerky

When I started Burleigh Chilli Co, I never really set out to build a hot sauce company. I just wanted to make products that I was excited to share with friends and family, products that were big on flavour, made with quality ingredients, and inspired by the lifestyle I love here on the Gold Coast.

Over the years, that passion has grown from sauces into something bigger. I've always believed Burleigh Chilli Co could be more than just hot sauce. So when the idea of creating a jerky came up, it felt like a natural next step.

The challenge was finding the right partner.

I knew I didn't want to just put my label on someone else's product and call it a day. I wanted to work with people who cared about flavour as much as I do, who take pride in their craft, and who genuinely love what they make. That's exactly why I reached out to Killa Jerky.

I'd been a fan of their jerky for a while. They're passionate, and they've built a reputation for producing premium small batch jerky that people keep coming back for. The more I got to know the team, the more it became obvious that we shared the same approach, quality ingredients, no shortcuts, and always putting flavour first.

Together, we started experimenting with flavours and quickly landed on something special: Shore Break Beef Jerky.

Inspired by our Reef Break BBQ sauce, Shore Break combines smoky, savoury flavours with a gentle chilli kick that builds the more you eat. It's the kind of snack that's just as at home on a road trip as it is after a surf, around a campfire, or with a cold drink at the end of a long day.

For me, that's what this collaboration is really about. It's not just another product. It's two businesses coming together to create something we're genuinely proud of. Something that captures a bit of the Burleigh lifestyle, laid back, adventurous, and always centred around good food and good people.

I couldn't be happier with how Shore Break turned out, and I hope you enjoy eating it as much as we've enjoyed creating it.
